10 sneaker trends you’re seeing everywhere in 2025
This year, no fashion article has made the headlines like sneakers – the Adidas sambas. They were everywhere until they become too popular, which prompted some people to sell them, some to bury them in their cupboards and others to ignore the noise and wear them anyway. On the other hand, the trends of the coaches who defined the second half of this year – and the forecasts for the next – suggest that many people are trying with anti -fgal conceptions. In an effort to avoid another saturation situation in samba, new generation style fans have taken the personalization of coaches with charms, chains, ribbons and colorful laces, or discovered the less known archive styles as an alternative to those of the projectors.
Of course, there was a treadmill of cult styles which, like the Sambas, were worn by what resembles each celebrity and computer person (strategic seeding is partly to thank for that). In no particular order: Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66s, Puma Speedcats and various models of New Balance (9060, 530s, 574s and the collaborative versions of Aimé Leon Dore) were popular this year. And better believe that the crowds at the Oasis reunion tour next summer will be a stone’s throw from the Adidas coaches inspired by Gallagher (Liam Gallagher has collaborated with the brand on several cars of spems).
Other predictions: the return of skitched coaches who “could have been stolen into the room of your best friend of your best friend in 2002, slipped from Next to his PlayStation 2”, as my colleague Daisy Jones recently observed it. Based on the omnipresence of AI and material innovations, I also predict that certain technological elements are also thrown into the mixture. With a continuous obsession with performance and gorpcore coaches (Salmons, Hokas, Merrels, Vibrams and Asics continue to dominate here) and styles worthy of pitch inspired by female euros. The daring and the beautiful
Take away, minimalism. This year, the sphere of sneakers is a question of color, where it is more. Harry Styles was recently spotted in London, wearing Prada collapse sneakers, while the first adopters of the trend included Bella Hadid and Amelia Gray, on the female front. Given that Simone Rocha had a new variation from low to satin on its fall / winter 2025 track, the Sneakerina will surely remain popular until the end of the year.
Sports Sprinters
From Miu Miu to Maison Margiela, sneakers inspired by sporting forms, the shapes of sprinter have their moment. It is a natural progression, given all the retro runners who are currently floating. The main difference is that these have a Trément Gum soleuse, imitating the idea of tips, like those on the sole of their technical counterparts. Margiela’s sprinter has become one to look at, while collaborations such as as boys X SPALWART sends quickly. The reinvention by Bottega Veneta of their sneaker in orbit, now in a form with a low runner, solidifies this as the next step in the world of kicks inspired by the return.
Partnerships, partnerships, partnerships
Collaborations have always been a powerful tool on the landscape of sneakers, with the most coveted styles selling at inflated prices on resale sites long after their initial version. This year was a continuous success for current partnerships between the Wales Bonner and Adidas and Miu Miu and New Balance. With more brands that jump on the train to each turn, expect 2025 to be large on the collaboration front.

Football fever has already resumed fashion during male euros – football shirts and scarves have become a style of style out of the field, so prepare for 2.0 next summer. Gorpcore is no longer a trend – it’s a lifestyle. I heard a lot of Gorpy’s clothes around my east premises, provided by guys dressed in pants or graecci parachute needles, tracks, beam cardigans and a sort of sealing; Dark with a bag of arcs hanging on their bodies. They pinch after performance trainers, notably Salomons, Merrels, Hokas and Asics – the latter has outperformed most of the racing shoe brands according to Emily Minea, merchandising director at Goat, who nicknamed it “the ultimate unconstructed race brand”. I also heard some inhabitants of Hackney shot at the idea of Vibram V-Trails and I wondered if they would be down for the Tabi coaches, if they enter the dominant current beyond Margiela-Molly predicts that the details of the toes could gain ground in 2025.
