The fried things increase the vata and phlegm defects in the body, which weakens the digestive system and increases the chances of weight gain. In this season, there is high moisture in the body, due to which the fried things accumulate excess oil and lubrication in the body, which promotes problems like heart diseases and blood pressure. Therefore, one should avoid eating fried things in the rain and should eat light and digestible food.

Many people like eating ice cream soaked in the rain, but it should not be done. According to Ayurveda, the intake of cold drinks and ice cream is harmful during the rainy season. Cold food and cold drinks weaken the digestive power of the body, causing problems like indigestion, gas and flatulence. Apart from this, these things also promote diseases like cold-cough and sore throat. It is better to consume hot and light drinks like ginger tea, basil water or warm milk in the rain. Do not consume cold drinks and juice in the rain.

Ayurveda expert told that eating junk food should be avoided in the rain, because in this season, bacteria and viruses thrive quickly in food and drink. Street foods are usually made in low-clean places with oily and spicy. This increases the risk of stomach diseases like diarrhea, infection and food poisoning. Therefore, consumption of clean and nutritious food is necessary.

Raw or half -baked food should also be avoided completely during the rainy season. It is said in Ayurveda that half -baked food weakens the digestive system and invites diseases by depositing toxins in the body. When the body is already weak in the rain, it increases the risk of stomach disturbances such as constipation, indigestion and stomach pain. Always cooked well and hot food should be eaten.

Eating more sweet and oily can also prove to be harmful in this season. Eating more oily can cause problems like obesity and blood clotting in the body.
