Sheikh Hasina, president of Bangladesh Awami League, expressed deep grief and grief for the victims of this cowardly attack and wished the injured to get well soon. In a statement posted on her party’s website, Sheikh Hasina said that terrorists want to stop the progress of humanity, called them “disgusting enemies of human civilization”.
He said, “We give unwavering support for human political values around the world. Bangladesh Awami League will continue to give full support in global conflict against the League in extremist forces. We demand that people responsible for such barbaric attacks be brought to the forefront.”

He said, “Our commitment is in building a human society, state and world by promoting solidarity among people. We clearly and strongly condemn such acts of terrorism.”
At the same time, Professor Muhammad Yunus, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, kept silence for hours after the attack. However, as time was spent, he was criticized and finally on Wednesday evening, he condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He wrote in a post on his official Facebook page, “Please accept my deep condolences on the loss of life and property in Pahalgam, Kashmir … We strongly condemn this heinous act. I confirm Bangladesh’s firm attitude against terrorism.”
