This teenager scored history by scoring a century in 35 balls against Gujarat Titans – this is the fastest made by an Indian player and the second fastest in the IPL so far. This was only the third IPL match of Suryavanshi. At the age of 14 years and 32 days, he played a 101 -run innings of just 38 balls and became the youngest player to score a century in IPL and T20 cricket.

His century, which hit only 35 balls, was slowly slow with Chris Gayle’s historic innings. Following the brilliant performance of the young player, the LSG owner shared a picture of 6 -year -old Vaibhav of 2017 on social media, in which he was encouraging Goenka’s then franchise Rising Pune Supergiant (now closed).

Goenka wrote in an caption, “Last night I saw in the astonishment … This morning I found this picture of 6 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, in which he was encouraging my then team, Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017. Thank you, Vaibhav. A lot of best wishes and support.”

Thanks to a century in 35 balls of Suryavanshi, RR registered a big win against GT by eight wickets, as the domestic team became the fastest team to pursue a score of more than 200, as they met the target of 210 runs in 15.5 overs. After the match, Goenka appreciated Kishore’s performance. He posted on X, “Youth Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s passion, confidence and talent salute … Wow! Great century off 35 balls …”
