Michael Hussey on Vaibhav Suryavanshi: Michael Hussey, who was the batting coach of Chennai Super Kings, has talked about the batsman who is considering the second ‘Adam Gilchrist’ of world cricket. Michael Hussey has compared the 14 -year -old batsman of India Vaibhav Suryavanshi to Adam Gilchrist. Talking with the Times of India, the former Australian veteran has praised Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s batting. Mike Hussey said, “When Gilchrist used to come on the field to bat, the entire Australian team used to come to the balcony to watch the game, because such players are very exciting. I also felt the same by looking at this young player. It was amazing to see him scoring a century off 35 balls.”
Regarding Vaibhav, Mike Hussey further said, “It was amazing to bat with him and Yashasvi Jaiswal .. It seems careless many times, but it is very exciting to see it. Playing this way against some of the best bowlers, shakes your mind.”
