Pakistan’s action shocked Pakistan, closed its ports for Indian ships

May 4, Pakistan has banned the use of its ports by Indian ships. The ban has been imposed by New Delhi a few hours after New Delhi implemented new punitive measures against Islamabad, which includes the import of goods and the ban on the entry of Pakistani ships into its ports.

India on Saturday banned the import of goods coming from Pakistan or passing through Pakistani ships into their ports. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the country is committed to taking ‘firm and decisive’ action against terrorists and their supporters.

In view of the cross -border relations of the Pahalgam terror attack, India on Saturday postponed all the postal services with Pakistan as a new punitive step against Islamabad. The entry of Pakistani flag ships was banned at Indian ports.

According to the report of Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Pakistan ordered late on Saturday that no Indian flag bearer ship would be allowed to visit the Pakistani port.

According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Pakistan implements the following measures with immediate effect to protect marine sovereignty, economic interest and national security, given the recent development of marine conditions with the neighboring country. Indian flag bearers will not be allowed to go to any Pakistani port, Pakistani flag bearer will not go to any Indian port (and) any discount or exemption will be investigated and a decision will be taken on the basis of the case.

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, there was a decline in relations between the two neighboring countries, killing 26 people, most of which were tourists.

According to the Government of India order, a complete ban has been imposed on import of all goods from Pakistan on the basis of national security and public policy.
