Pulsar N160 and Apache RTR 160 problems to increase, Honda launches its amazing bike
Honda has launched the updated version of the SP 160 in India. The corresponding ex-showroom price would be Rs 1,21,951. The sporty commuter motorcycle was introduced in two variants. Single disc and double disc. The double disc is priced at Rs 1,27,956 (ex-showroom). The 160cc sports commuter motorcycle is now more expensive by Rs 3,000 for the base variant and Rs 4,605 for the top-end version. Recently, the Japanese bike maker launched an updated version of the SP 125 a few days ago and the same set of updates have been extended to the SP 160 as well.

Small changes have been made to the front to give it a cleaner appearance. To begin with, the 2025 SP 160 features a muscular fuel tank with a sporty fairing that gives the bike a muscular profile. It gets a slightly more angular headlight cluster that now gets LED lighting. The taillight is also now an LED unit. The updated SP 160 comes in four color options: Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray and Athletic Blue Metallic. The previous model was available in six colors.
In terms of features, the 2025 SP 160 has a 4.2-inch TFT display dashboard that has Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts. Other notable features include a USB Type-C charging port and the Honda RoadSync app that helps integrate smartphones with the dashboard, offering features like turn-by-turn navigation and real-time music playback .

Like the SP 125, the SP 160 also continues with the same engine but is now OBD2B compliant to meet upcoming government regulations. It is powered by the same 162.71 cc single-cylinder engine which now produces 13 PS and 14.8 Nm of peak torque, which is a marginal drop of 0.2 PS. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. By introducing this motorcycle, Honda will attempt to strengthen its hold in the 160cc segment. Bajaj Pulsar N160 and TVS Apache RTR 160 are two major competing bikes in this segment.
