Marouti’s first electric car to come that day, the tension of Mahindra and Tata will increase

Maruti Suzuki confirmed his first electric SUV, the launch date for E Vitara. E Vitara was displayed for the first time at India Mobility Global Auto Expo in January 2025. Maruti Suzuki will launch E Vitara on September 3. E Vitara will compete with cars like Hyundai Cret Electric, Tata Curve, MG Windsar, MG ZS EV and Mahindra Be6. The length of E Vitara is 4,275 mm, 2,700 mm wheelbase, height 1,640 mm and 1800 mm width.

The Electric SUV E Vitara has a 3 -in -1 motorcycle group configuration which adds the engine, the inverter and the transmission to the same unit. It is available with two battery options, each delivered with different transmission configurations. The 49 kWh battery leads to an electric motor mounted before which produces a power of 144 hp and a torque 189 Nm. At the same time, the 61 kWh battery gives power to a front engine which produces a power of 174 hp and the same torque of 189 nm.
For better performance researchers, the largest 61 kWh battery is likely to be available with the all -wheel drive option (AWD). A 65 hp rear engine was added to this variant, which gives total power of 184 hp and torque of 300 nm. Although Maruti has not yet published the official figures in the range, the large battery will give a practice of more than 500 km. To help E-Vitara customers, Maruti will provide a smart home charger and help installation. During the first 2-3 years, a fast dependent infrastructure will be installed in the 100 best cities in India and plans to create a charging station every 5 to 10 km.

In addition, Maruti aims to install 1,500 electric service-to-service electric service centers in more than 1,000 cities. Inside the E-Vitara, a digital cockpit with a floating console with two bridges, a specific design steering wheel, a fixed glass roof and a double tone double-touch material, with multi-capal ambient lighting. The technical characteristics include a 25.65 cm (10.1 inch) digital touch screen and a multi-information display of 26.04 cm (10.25 inch), which provides spontaneous control. Wireless connectivity and a Harman audio system improves the car experience.
