Tabu’s ivory lehenga comes alive with a floral and avian motif dupatta

As an actor who has delivered idiosyncratic performance and costumes on the screen, Tabu actually prefers classics in his back wardrobe. For example, his Kalamkari Dupatta and Banarasi Silk Lehenga are painted by hand, stylized by Natasha Vohra.

Designed by Aamra by Lavanya, Tabu’s outfit includes a Lehenga Ivory and a short -sleeved blouse at Banarasi Chanderi Silk. Almost assembled with a shimmering, the blouse and Lehenga accentuate the fine scratches of Zari in vertical operation. The blouse, adapted to an always flattering V neckline, is framed by scalloped borders embellished with a work of golden glitter and the lace of Chevron Gotta Patti.

The real centerpiece of the look is however the dupatta, a piece of Kalamkari silk painted by hand on the theme of “birds outside the cages”. Dyed in natural and detailed shades with pitta embroidery and glitter, the fluid glacial drape with its expressive flowers and avian patterns resembles portable art. The Gota Patti border with three layers of the dupatta with acorns adds a slight structure and a rigidity to the otherly fluid nature of printing and fabric.

A rich battery of bracelet and rings by Kalyan jewelers made a look. A neck in pastel tones with matching earrings with live stones completed the jewelry. Its beauty adding to the floral theme, has an elegant little bun decorated with yellow roses, carved eyebrows and cheekbones, cheeks broadcast with fishing and expressive eyes.
