Bumrah’s bowling was impressive in 2024
Last year, Jasprit Bumrah was a force to be reckoned with in red ball cricket. For the team, he took 71 wickets in just 13 matches at an average of 14.92. Not only this, Team India could not capture the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy, but Bumrah was in good form throughout the tournament. He took 32 wickets for the team. But despite this the blue team could not win the title.
Bumrah becomes the sixth player to receive special honor
Bumrah has become the sixth player for the country to receive the ‘ICC Test Cricketer of the Year’ award. Before him, this special achievement was achieved by Rahul Dravid, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Ravichandran Ashwin and Virat Kohli.
