Recently, the film was reissued in theaters, but this time, its end was replaced by the help of artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence (IA), which revealed a mixed response to the public. The actor Dhanush reacted to this, saying that this new version “removed the soul of the film”. According to him, he had already opposed it.
In an article on “X” on Sunday, the 42 -year -old actor wrote: “Ranjhana’s reality with AI has changed for AI completely distracted me. This alternative end removed the soul of the film and despite my clear objection, the parties concerned did it. This is not the film in which I worked 12 years ago.

Dhanush said that such a process is a threat to “the honesty of narration”. He wrote: “The use of AI to change films or materials is a very disturbing tradition for art and artists. It is the honesty to tell the story and endanger the heritage of cinema. I seriously hope that strict rules will be made to prevent such a trend in the future.” The story of the film is based on the background of Banaras and Delahi, in which a Hindu boy named Kundan (Dhanush) loves Zoya (Sonam Kapoor).
Kundan died in the hospital after being shot during a rally during the highest point in the original version of the film. Its end in the version modified by the AI has changed and it survives. Director Anand L. Rai has already criticized the new version published by the producer and the company of distributors Eros. He said that the film did not need a new final scene and was already a great film.
At the same time, Eros declared in response that the company has always been a pioneer in the adoption of new techniques and that the objective of the alternative end is to increase the participation of the public and to present a new approach. He also said he was shown to be an “optional version”. The scenario of “Raanjhana” was written by Himanshu Sharma. The film also features Abhay Deol, Swara Bhaskar and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub in important roles.
