From ancestral jewels to vintage silks, all that went inside New Delhi’s celebration of heirloom and heritage

In India, inheritances have always been more than jewelry; These are vessels of memory and inheritance, and a recall of our deeply rooted culture. Temple jewelry transmitted in households in southern India to the Polki and Kundan pieces of darling darling in the North, the inheritances often carry stories of people who wore them, their hands that made them and the history they have witnessed. As a prelude to the Vogue wedding workshop presented by HSBC, the gathering was a celebration of this very inherited and personal style. With a gift considered by Nicobar and a refined decor of the wedding design company, the evening took place as a carefully organized experience, where heritage, narration and style converged.
