The controversy of the Bhaijaan fitness brand: Salman Khan struck at the door of Nclat for 7.24 crores

Bollywood actor Salman Khan challenged the NCLT order in the NCLAT court, who rejected his petition to launch the bankruptcy for an exceptional amount of 7.24 Rupes against Jerai fitness. This controversy is associated with the “strong” fitness tools brand established by Salman Khan in collaboration with Jerai FEDNESS.

Salman signed an agreement with Jerai Fitness on the license rights of his “Being Strong” fitness tool. There is a dispute on its payment of a fee.

In May, Salman filed an insolvency against the Jerai Fitness in the Mumbai bench of the National Court of Companies law (NCLT). But the petition has been rejected, claiming that the complaint is controversial in nature and that this insolvency is the recovery process rather than the law.

Salman now appealed before the National Law Court of Appeal (NCLAT) against this NCLT order. The case was registered on August 22 for hearing, but at the request of her lawyer, she was postponed until September 15. In October 2018, Salman signed a trade-colitnet trade agreement with Jerai Fitness in which the right to use the brand is strong.

Payment of fees has been changed due to the Kovid-19 epidemic and commercial disturbances. However, the actor says that Jerai Fitness did not pay the amount of fees in time. Salman sent an opinion in September of last year with a request of 7.24 Rupes, including 24% of annual interest. At the same time, Jerait Fitness says that there was already a dispute between them and that he had invested great capital for products like ex-tende and Proton Series. The NCLT admitted that the license reception unit was authorized to sell and promote the product, but it was necessary to take a pre-influence.
