The new Tata Nexon EV has been released at a stunning dark edition and Adas safe price

Passenger cars manufactured by Tata Motors are considered to be the safest on the market, and the Nexon range is one of them. The Nexon’s combustion engine and battery powered version is one of the safest cars to sell in India, and its construction quality is also excellent. The subcompact crossover with this battery is equipped with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This ADAS package is introduced in a 45 kWh battery pack and is a new empowered A+ trim priced at Rs 1729 lakh (ex-showroom). The ADAS package includes semi-autonomous security facilities such as traffic sign recognition, lane centre-ring system, lane departure warning, lane assist, forward collision warning (pedestrian/cyclist/car), autonomous emergency division (pedestrian/cyclist/car), and high beam assist. Apart from the Adas, Tata Motors has also added useful features to this new trim, such as a rear window sunshed and ambient lighting.
What’s special is that this new empowered A+ trim with a 45 kWh battery pack is also available in the Dark Edition. The new Nexon EV dark and red dark trim costs Rs 17.49 (ex-showroom), which is 20,000 more than the A+ trim involved. Like all other dark edition models from Tata Motors, the Nexon EV Dark also comes with a black look and a completely black interior. Facilities offered for the Nexon EV Dark Edition include a panoramic sunroof, vehicle (V2V) charging to vehicles, load (V2L) technology, and the 12.3-inch Haraman TM TCHSCREEN infotainment system. The Nexon EC 45 has a 45 kWh battery, claiming a 489 km range that is charged. However, the actual range is approximately 350-370 km. The battery sends energy to an electric motor running through the front wheel, which produces 143 bhp and 215 nm of peak torque. From the 120 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged to 20-80% in 40 minutes. In other words, it can cover a distance of 150 km in just 15 minutes from the DC fast charger.
