Such a compound found in ganja… which will make many rare diseases, scientists made a big claim

Scientists at the Stelanbosh University discovered rare flavoolcaloid compound in cannabis leaves, which could be helpful in medicines for diseases like cancer, epilepsy, migraine.

Which compound found in Ganja

Researchers identified 79 phenolic compounds in three varieties of commercially grown commercially grown in South Africa, 25 of which were identified for the first time in cannabis. Of these, 16 compounds were temporarily identified as flavoelkaloids. Interestingly, flavoolcaloids were found mainly in only one variety of leaves. These results have recently been published in the Journal of Chromatography A.
The Analysis chemist at the LC-MS Laboratory of the Central Analysis Facility (CAF) at Steelbosh University and Dr. Migrit Muller, the author of this research paper, says that the analysis of phenolics found in plants is challenging due to their low concentrations and highly structural diversity. They say that, most plants have a much more complex mixture of phenolic compounds. Whereas, flavonoids are widely found in the botanical world, flavoolcaloids are very rare in nature.
