Champions Trophy: Pakistan lost due to poor performance of Babur, Shaheen, Haris, Nasim? Coach Aqib Javed gave a shocking statement
AAQIB JAVED Reaction on Pakistan Team Performance: Pakistan’s interim head coach and national selector Aqib Javed said on Wednesday that the national team’s campaign in the Champions Trophy was adversely affected due to the injury of Sam Ayub and Fakhar Zaman. Aqib said that despite being out of the semi -final race, the team is committed to ending their campaign with victory. Pakistan will play from Bangladesh in its last group match on Thursday.
When the Pakistani coach, who was in front of the media on the eve of the match against Bangladesh, was asked that the team’s dispensary was due to poor performance of senior players, the coach defended the players. Aqib was asked that the senior player who is, Babar Azam, Rizwan, Shaheen, Naseem, Haris, they are unable to show that kind of performance and the main reason for Pakistan’s defeat is not to perform.
Responding to this question, Akib said, “You are absolutely right. The common man who is not playing in the ground and is not part of the management, he needs the reason and not that the team has lost, tell us the reason, these are the two or three people, because of which this team has lost. So that you know that we get to know that this is because of them that this match is losing this whole team.”
Pakistan’s interim coach further said, “As far as you are talking, Babur’s, Rizwan Ki, Shaheen Ki, Nasim’s or Haris, what our thinking was in making this team was that we made our best which is Posable 11 or 15.” He said, “There is no doubt in this Shaheen, Naseem and Haris, these three bowlers, if you write the names of the fast bowlers of any team, put it in front of them, then they are among the best in the fast bowling option.”
Akib Javed further said, “This is a surprising that we are telling me that we are saying that these are the most senior people. He did not perform. Yes, he is quite talented. If he sees his records, it is not that he has not come to do anything. From that day or Tri -series, it is not yet that kind of performance is coming, this is not a matter of us.”
Aqib Javed further said, “These are five of your people, whom people do high rates. They did not perform according to our expectations, so we lost. But you cannot say that these five what they are should not be in the team or should not be further.”
