Rohit, Kohli, Dhoni Expected to Attend Rishabh pant’s Sister’s Wedding: There is a possibility of gathering in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand to attend the wedding of wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant’s sister Sakshi Pant. The wedding ceremony will take place in Mussoorie on Tuesday and Wednesday. Indian captain Rohit Sharma, star batsman Virat Kohli and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni are expected to attend the wedding.
Sakshi Pant is marrying businessman Ankit Chaudhary. Both of them got engaged last year after dating for almost nine years. Former Indian captain MS Dhoni also attended the couple’s engagement ceremony in London in January 2024. There are a large number of followers on social media due to pictures and trendy outfits of Sakshi, who studied in the UK.
Pant was part of the Champions Trophy winning team, in which India won their third title by defeating New Zealand in the final. In December 2022, wicketkeeper-batsman narrowly escaped a deadly car accident.
After several surgery and prolonged rehabilitation, he returned to cricket after more than a year and helped India win the T20 World Cup. On returning to Tests, he scored a century winning the match against Bangladesh in September 2024, with the Indian wicketkeeper equal the record of Dhoni of Test centuries by the Indian wicketkeeper.
Pant also became the most expensive player in IPL history in the 2025 mega auction after Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) purchased for Rs 27 crore in Jeddah last November.
He left behind a bid of Rs 26.75 crore set by Punjab Kings (PBKS) to buy Shreyas Iyer a few minutes ago. In January this, he was officially introduced as LSG captain for IPL 2025 starting on 22 March.
