Adani Energy Solutions achieved a transmission project of Rs 2,800 crore in Gujarat, shares rise

Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) won a power transmission project of Rs 2,800 crore in Gujarat on Friday. India’s largest private transmission and distribution company said that the project will be assigned to the country in 36 months, which will supply green electrons for the manufacture of green hydrogen and green ammonia in Mundra.

Orderbook reached Rs 57,561 crore due to getting sixth order

The company of Adani Group has received this sixth order in this financial year, due to which the company’s orderbook has increased to Rs 57,561 crore. This project also includes upgrading two large 765/400 KV transformers and upgrading the new power substation.

150 circuit kilometers transmission lines and 3,000 MVA capacity will be connected

According to the company, a 75 km long 765 KV double-circuit line will be constructed to connect this substation to Bhuj substation. This project will connect 150 circuit kilometers (CKM) transmission lines and 3,000 MVA transformation capacity in the total transmission infrastructure of AESL, which will serve their capacity 25,928 CKM and 87,1866 MVA will be done.

AESL said it had won the project under the Tariff based competitive bid (TBCS) system and was the coordinator of the PFC Consulting Limited Bidding Process. The project SPV has been formally transferred to AESL on 20 March 2025.

Adani Energy Solutions Country’s largest private transmission company

Adani Energy Solutions Limited is the largest private transmission company in the country, which has 25,928 CKM transmission network and 87,186 MVA transformation capacity. AESL Retail Power Distribution Sector is also present. It serves around 1.3 crore consumers at Mumbai and Industrial Center Mundra SEZ.

The company is also increasing its smart metering business and is on the way to become India’s leading smart metering integrator. Adani Energy Solutions is ready to register a strong growth in its transmission, distribution and smart meter business. According to the note of Elar Capital, the company’s transmission is estimated to double in ABITDA FY 27 to Rs 76 billion.

Shares recorded 4%

Due to the news of getting a power transmission project in Gujarat, the shares of Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) saw an increase of up to 4% on Friday.
