A man caught fire in a US governor’s mansion, narrowly escaped in the attack, suspect arrested

New York:
New York, 14 April: Josh Shapiro, Governor of American state Pennsylvania and his family survived the early attack on his official residence. A person had set the building on fire by dodging the security personnel. Now he will be accused of terrorism.
Shapiro said that at around 2 pm on Sunday, the police woke him up and took him out safely from the state capital Harrisburg. Officials said the suspected person Kodi Bamar (38 years) was arrested from outside the city. Local prosecutor Fran Chardo said Kodi Bamar would be accused of terrorism, attempt to murder and arson. Shapiro is Jews and this attack took place during the sacred festival of his religion during the passover.
Addressing the press conference outside his residence, the governor said, “Such violence is not right. I don’t mind whether this action is from a particular side or from someone else. It is not right.” Shapiro is an influential leader of the Democratic Party.
According to reports, the property of a person with an alleged attacker is going to be auctioned under the court order for not repaying the loan. Attack on the governor’s house is a fresh case in incidents of violence against leaders in America. People’s views in the country are very different, due to which such violence is increasing.
Last year, Donald Trump was attacked in Pennsylvania during the President’s election campaign. He was injured in this attack, while another attempt was also thwarted in Florida. In 2023, a person entered the house of former speaker Nancy Pelosi and her husband was seriously injured in this attack.
