Islamabad:
Pakistan’s army admitted late Sunday night that one of its military aircraft had suffered a ‘mild loss’ in a recent military conflict with India. However, information about the details related to the aircraft or its damage was not shared. On Saturday, it was agreed to stop all kinds of firing and military action between India and Pakistan with immediate effect.
Pakistani Army spokesperson Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said in a joint press conference with Air Force and Naval officials that the purpose of the press conference is to give information about the action and results of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsus. Chaudhary said, “Only one aircraft of Pakistan has suffered a mild loss,” but he did not give any other details related to the aircraft.
In response to a question, he said that there is no Indian pilot in Pakistan’s custody and all the reports in this regard are ‘false rumors spread on social media’. The army spokesperson claimed that Pakistan’s military response had been ‘accurate, balanced and restrained’.
