Adani Green Energy created history, Ebitda crosses one billion in 2024-25, revenue increased 23%

Adani Group’s company Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has performed tremendously in FY 2024-25. The company’s EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) crossed one billion dollars and renewable energy capacity increased by 30 percent. Now the total capacity of the company has become 14.2 GW, which is the highest in the country.
Adaani Green during this period during this period is the 3.3 GW new Greenfield Capacity pair, which is the biggest ever growth made by any renewable company in India. In the last financial year, the company has contributed 16% in utility-scale seller energy across the country and 14% in wind energy installations.
Large rise in electricity sales and revenue
The company said that in the financial year 2024-25, electricity sales increased by 28% to 27,969 million units on an annual basis, which is about half of Singapore’s year-round power consumption. Meanwhile, Adani Green’s revenue also rose 23% to Rs 9,495 crore.
22% growth in Ebitda, best margin in industry
The company’s EBITDA gained 22% to Rs 8,818 crore. The Ebitda margin was 91.7%, which is the best in the renewable energy sector. Cash Profit has also increased by 22% to Rs 4,871 crore.
New record in solar utilization
Adani Green said that the Utilization Factor (CUF) of solar energy (CUF) was 32.4% in the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25. This was made possible with the use of high technology such as bifaicial n-type modules, horizontal single-Xis trackers and waterless robotic cleaning systems.
World’s largest renewable energy project in Khavda
Sagar Adani, executive director of Adani Green Energy, said that the company is constructing the world’s largest renewable energy park in Khawda, Gujarat, which will have a capacity of 30 GW. The area of this project is spread over 538 square kilometers, which is about five times larger than the city of Paris. So far, the company has started operating 4.1 gigawatt capacity in two years of starting construction.
He said that Adani Green has also achieved water positivity in her entire operation portfolio, which shows the company’s circular economy and ESG targets to meet the commitment.
