Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani announced an investment of Rs 50,000 crore in Assam

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has announced a big announcement of Rs 50,000 crore in Assam on Tuesday. The announcement was made during the opening ceremony of Assam Advantage Summit (Assam Advantage Summit 2025), the main objective of which is to promote the possibilities of development of Assam.
Chairman Gautam Adani, at the Advantage Assam Summit held in Guwahati, said that the natural beauty, cultural heritage, heritage and strategic importance of Assam inspires him to make this investment. He informed that this investment made in Assam will help in making the state a major economic hub through regional development, employment generation and better infrastructure.
Gautam Adani also referred to the prestigious Kamakhya Temple and Brahmaputra River of Assam, “We are always inspired by the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Assam.

He further stated that this investment is an important step towards long term and sustainable development. The investment of Rs 50,000 crore in Assam by Adani Group will focus on airports, aerosity, city gas and road projects. This investment will create thousands of employment opportunities.
