Samsung plans to start making many other products in this factory. Union Electronics Minister Ashwini Vahnav said on Saturday after being seated with Samsung CEO in Southwest Asia, JB Park, the company continues to extend the manufacture of its equipment in India.
Samsung has created its first world electronics manufacturing factory in India in 1996. Earlier this year, president of Samsung Electronics, TM Roh, said the company had started to prepare for the manufacture of laptops in India. Globally, the second largest mobile manufacturing unit in Samsung is also in India and is also the second largest exporter of mobile phones in India after Apple.
