The grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 took place on January 19, in the presence of many celebrities. Famous names like Aamir Khan, Junaid Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Veer Paharia were among the special guests on the show. Akshay Kumar was scheduled to attend the show as he had come to promote his upcoming film Sky Force. Although the actor reached the set, he left without filming his segment. The reason for his exit from the show was Salman Khan.

Recently, at a press conference in Delhi, Akshay spoke about this situation. He revealed that Salman Khan was arriving late due to “personal reasons”. As Akshay already had work to do, he couldn’t wait for Salman to arrive. Akshay said, “I was arriving late for a job. I spoke to Salman and he was busy with some personal work. He told me he would be late for around 40 minutes. But I had to go because I already had work.
On the show, Salman Khan said that Akshay was on the set to promote his upcoming film, but he had to leave because Salman was late and Akshay also had other work. Salman Khan said, “Akki is also in the film. I was a little late and he had to go for another role, so he left.” HT City had earlier reported that Akshay left because he had to attend the test screening of Jolly LLB 3.

Akshay also clarified that everything was fine between him and Salman and they spoke on the phone. Akshay said, “I had to go… However, we talked about it.” During the finale episode, Salman Khan had mentioned that Akshay had to leave as he had to attend another event. Although Akshay couldn’t promote Sky Force in Bigg Boss 18, his co-star Veer Pahriya did. The co-stars participated in the show and talked about the upcoming film and also performed the elimination task. Veer surprised everyone by showing his singing skills.
