Akshay Kumar’s “real estate stand”, the two Borivali apartments have found up to 99% of bumper yields
According to the registration documents of the property examined by the Squareyards.com online property portal on the Inspector General’s website (IGR), the actor of Bollywood Akshay Kumar sold two adjacent properties in the same residential project in Borivali to the east of Mumbai, which is worth RS 7.10 Core.In 2017, Akshay Kumar bought these two apartments for 3.69 crores, and documents show that they have received 92% yields in the past eight years.

The documents suggest that these two apartments are in a building called Oberoi Sky City, built by the real estate developer listed Oberoi Realty.

The two properties are nearby and are located in Sky City developed by Oberoi Realty and are spread over 25 acres. It is a residential project ready to live with studios and duplicates in 3BHK, 3BHK + duplexes. According to IGR documents examined by Square Yards, the first assets were sold by Akshay Kumar and its value is 5.75 crore. Its carpet area is 1,101 square feet and includes two parking sites. This transaction included RS 34.50 Lakh stamp fees and RS 30,000 registration fees. Akshay Kumar bought this property in 2017 for Rs 3.02 crore and since then, its price has increased by 90%.
The second property was sold by Akshay Kumar for Rs 1.35 crore. Its carpet area is 252 square feet, Akshay Kumar bought this property in 2017 for Rs 67.90 Lakh and since then its price has increased by 99%.

According to Square Yard Data Intelligence, Oberoi Sky City posted a solid market activity, recorded 100 sales registrations with a total transaction price of RS 428 crore from August 2024 to July 2025. The price of the average resale of resale in this project is Rs 47,800 by SQ FT.
In January 2025, Akshay Kumar sold an apartment of 1,073 square feet in the Borivali region in Mumbai for 4.25 crore. According to documents received by indextap, on January 31, 2025, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna sold their luxury apartment for 80 crore ₹ at the Oberoi 360 West project in World, Mumbai.
