Rohit Sharma: The Mumbai Association has made Rohit’s stature bigger amid poor form

New Delhi:

While former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma (Rohit Sharma) is going through a very bad form in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025), on the other hand his state Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has taken a big decision regarding him. MCA has decided to name a stand at its most prominent Wankhede Stadium after Rohit. Soon the Divecha Pavilion Level-3 will be named after Rohit Sharma. Its decision was taken at the 86th annual general meeting of MCA on Tuesday.

Apart from Rohit, two more stand Grand Stand Level-3 and Grand Stand Level-4 will also be named Sharad Pawar and Ajit Wadekar Stand respectively. At the same time, a big thing of the meeting was to increase the fund amount to Rs 75 crore for the Eiffelidit Clubs. This amount will be reduced to 100 crores in the coming time.

MCA President Ajinkya Naik said, ‘Today’s decisions showcase our deep respect for people who have been the main pillars of Mumbai cricket. And in future, our feeling and willing will be stronger. This stand and lounge will always echo the legacy of those who have raised brick by brick and run rate to Mumbai cricket’s spirit.
