Ananya Panday: “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do it, but I like the idea of playing yesteryear actors from the ’50s and ’60s”

Chunky Panday: You like my choice of clothes and you continue to take my shirts, but you don’t like the choice of the movies I want you to make …

AP: Your choice of clothes is questionable, but I borrow your clothes from time to time. In terms of films, we are of different generations and we are different types of actors. But we have linked to the films we like to watch. You are my cinematographic partner and we watched commercial films together, such as Pushpa 2: the rule (2024) and Baahubali 2: The conclusion (2017). Sometimes we lock the horns when selecting scripts because I want to explore my job as much as possible and make slightly decently decentral and more significant roles. I like you to let me make my own mistakes along the way and advise me in a non -pushy way. Soon we will reach common ground.

Maheep Kapoor: We had so many vacation together, from London to the United States, South Africa and more. Do you have a precious memory of one of them?

AP: When we were in South Africa like children, Shanaya and I wanted to be so badly adult that she climbed on my shoulders and we wore a gigantic bathrobe to look like a single person. Shanaya and I have always had this thing with two people. Even when you were pregnant with her, I slept on your belly.

Shanaya Kapoor: You have traveled such a long path and we are all so proud of you, Anne. Do you think you have already had your time I-Made-IT?

AP: I had a lot of mini-I-it mini-moles, but not so big because I never want to be complacent. Even at school, I have always been super competitive, a bench in front and a pet of a teacher – both Suhana and you know it. But it is less about beat someone and more of doing better. Even when my first film, Student of year 2 (2019), released and I won my first Prix Filmfare, I thought: “I did it.” But there is always the next thing. Honestly, I don’t want the big moment i-it to come.

Collin d’Ucunha: If you could play a character in addition to those you have, which one would be and why?
