“Ban on those who promote terrorism”, Nirmala Sitharaman created international pressure to stop Pakistan’s financial assistance

Asian development bank annual meeting: There is an atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack. India has imposed several restrictions on Pakistan. After stopping the Pakistani Airlines and the Indus Water Agreement, now India has started preparing to break the back of Pakistan at the international level. India is intensifying diplomatic efforts to prevent Asian Development Bank (ADB) from giving financial assistance to Pakistan.

Finance Minister raised the matter on international
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has recently raised the matter with the ADB president during a recent meeting. Apart from this, Nirmala Sitharaman has discussed this issue with her Italian counterpart and is interacting with many European countries.
Preparations to put Pakistan in the gray list of FATF
India is also pressurizing Pakistan to include Financial Action Work Force (FATF) in the gray list. At the same time, Islamabad is calling for reviewing multilateral financing flows.
