Bhumi Pednekar is one to kiss an eclectic stylistic business. Corsets associated with saris in brocades borrowed from her mother with a heavy mirror work blouse or a reused carpet as a skirt – a cheeky fashion declaration, both in terms of shape and color, rarely scares the starlet.

To launch the promotions of his next outing, Simple husband ki biwi, Pednekar leaned in a solid and crushed crushed silk lehenga of Bangaini without the Can-Can. This point of view of Bohemian pleasantly on Lehenga was torn from the “crushed silk collection” by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla. It consists of a line of offers in bright colors in primary colors, centered around the swollen quality of crushed silk and its ease on the carrier’s skin. Introduced for the first time about 38 years ago, crushed silk testifies to the love of designers for the pure tissue extending to tastes of khadi, rags and china crepe.

Interestingly, the technique was born from the serendipity. In a conversation with Vogue India, Jani and Khosla explained how the crushed sensation was the result of an attempt to remove a machine oil stain, twisting a Kurta to dry it quickly. The torsion then led to a superb orange piece far away, culminating in a timeless collection carried by Jaya Bachchan and Dimle Kapadia. More recently, a solid Rani-Rose iteration was carried by Tamannaah Bhatia, where the regality of the fabric took the front of the stage, punctuated only by Latkans, Doris and Ghunghroos Ourle along the Dupatta.
