UAE Blue Visa Application: The United Arab Emirates i.e. UAE has started giving special visas, after which the eligible persons will be allowed to stay in this country for 180 days or six months. This document, called ‘Blue Visa’, will provide 10 years residence in UAE, who has made extraordinary contribution in some special fields for this country. The fields mentioned by the government here are environmental protection, sustainability and clean and renewable energy.
Although the blue visa was first announced in 2024 and it was officially launched. It is now updated that the eligible people can apply for this special visa for this, whether they are in the United Arab Emirates or abroad.
Blue Visa of UAE- Who will benefit?
According to Gulf News, prestigious people who have a positive impact in the above fields can apply for blue visa. Scientists with important global achievements and researchers, investors and entrepreneurs working in the fields of environment, climate change and sustainability, and experts working in government and private environmental institutions within UAE will be able to apply for this. Significantly, the Emirates is focusing more and more on sustainability and this category of visa is in line with the country’s long -term target to make UAE more durable. It celebrated 2024 as the second continuous stability year.

How to apply for Blue Visa?
The Federal Authority of UAE (IPC) has launched a website and mobile application for identification, citizenship, customs and port protection where eligible persons can apply. Steps are here:
- Open the website or app, fill the necessary information like email ID etc.
- Provide evidence of your works and achievements done in the field of environment
- There should be a valid passport with a validity of at least six months
- Pay fees
- submit application
- Application has been received, it will be confirmed by email
How to apply for Blue Visa if you are out of UAE?
If you are applying for UAE’s blue visa from India or any other country, then keep in mind that the application process for six months visa from 13 May 2025 is officially open.

According to the IPC, the entire process takes just seven minutes. The agency said in a brief statement, “The service is completed within a working day after being verified in all the documents.” Blue Visa is an extension of the Golden Visa with highly demanded on some time. It also provides a validity period of six months, which can be extended once.
