BSE Share Price: Stormy boom in BSE shares, first time market cap crosses ₹ 1 trillion

BSE Share Price Today: Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) shares saw a strong rise today. With this, the market cap of BSE has crossed the figure of ₹ 1 trillion i.e. Rs 1 lakh crore for the first time. On Wednesday, BSE shares on NSE touched an all -time high of Rs 7,422.50.
In the last three days, BSE stocks have gained about 13%. The company has recently announced to issue 2: 1 bonus shares for its shareholders, whose record date has been fixed on 23 May 2025. Since this news, there has been tremendous enthusiasm among investors.
13% in three days and 31% in a month
In the last three trading sessions, a bounce of 13% has been seen in the shares of BSE. Talking about the last one month, BSE shares have gained 31%.
Market cap touched ₹ 1 trillion figure
The market cap of BSE reached the first time ₹ 1 trillion (Rs 1 lakh crore) amidst this speed of boom. Today its market cap reached Rs 1,00,483 crore in intra-day trade. At 9:29 am, the company’s market cap was Rs 99,163 crore at 9:29 am and the stock was trading at Rs 7,325, which was 0.45% above.
Rs 23 per share dividend, record date on 14 May
On May 6, the BSE released its Q4 results and announced a dividend of Rs 23 per share. Out of this, a special dividend of Rs 5 per share has been declared on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of BSE, while a regular dividend of Rs 18 will be. A record date for this has been fixed on 14 May.
Bonus share record date fixed on 23 May
The company has also announced a bonus share of 2: 1, that is, two bonus shares will be available on one stock. The company’s shareholders approved the proposal on 9 May 2025 and now its record date has been fixed on 23 May 2025.
