Ceasefire God trust between Russia-Ukraine! After all, what do Putin and Jailonski want from ‘Mission Istanbul’

Russia-Akraine Peace Talk: When will the war of Russia-Ukraine, which has been released for the last 3 years, stop? For the first time on the possibility of ending this war, Kiev and Moscow delegations are in Istanbul for direct talks. Talks are being held here between the two countries. But the conversation here will make a middle way out, its expectations are low. By the way, the proposal of this meeting was initially presented by Russian President Vladimir Putin himself. But Ukraine’s National Vadimir Jailonsky demanded that if Putin himself comes to this meeting, he will immediately reach the meeting for talks. But Putin rejected this call and instead there is talks between other delegations of both countries.

Do not know where diplomacy is going. US President Donald Trump wants to end the fight in a hurry and get a deal between the two on the ceasefire as soon as possible. But the truth is that a very large gap is seen in the middle of the middle way. The demands of Moscow and Kyiv appear very different in the talks.

1- Whose land will be?

Russia has repeatedly demanded to keep the region of southern and eastern Ukraine with it. At the same time, he has demanded to give more land from Kiev. It is worth noting that Moscow captured four Ukrainian regions – Donnetsk, Lugansk, Japorizia and Kherason – despite not having complete control in 2022. Russia also captured the Crimea Peninsula from Ukraine in 2014 and has been occupied by it since then.

Putin last year demanded Ukraine to remove his army from some parts of the areas on which his army still controls control. Addressing the talks in Istanbul, Russian External Affairs Minister Sergei Lavarov on Thursday described Putin’s demands as the basis of a possible solution. But Kiev has said that he will never recognize his occupied areas including Crimea as a Russian region.

However, in Jailonscian signals, it is seen to accept that Russia can maintain some land control as any peace agreement.

2- NATO screw

Russia has also demanded that Ukraine be prevented from joining the NATO military alliance and has repeatedly said that he wants to remove Jailonsky from the post. Russia intended to overthrow Jailonsky while starting its attack in 2022, Putin called for Ukraine’s generals to exclude them and then start a conversation with Moscow.

In March, Putin thought of keeping Ukraine under the United Nations -backed “temporary administration”, making his demand to remove Jailonski fresh. During the entire war, Russian authorities have called for Ukraine’s “Vishnanyaran” and “D-Najification”. He shows Ukraine as the new Nazi rule. But Kyiv, Western countries and independent experts have rejected those nectations.

Russia has also demanded several times to limit the size of Ukraine’s army, wants Ukraine to be declared a neutral state and the western country should stop the supply of arms to it.

3- Security guarantee for Ukraine

Jailonsky has been demanding a “safety guarantee” for Ukraine to prevent Russia from re -attacking for months. Their biggest demand will be that Ukraine should be included in NATO, or Ukraine should be brought under a collective defense term under Article 5 of the military alliance. However, Trump has dismissed the possibility of Ukraine joining the alliance and Russia says that giving Ukraine’s membership of NATO would be “unacceptable” at every cost.

Now Kiev is seeking a commitment of military security from western countries instead of her. Many European countries led by Britain and France are discussing about the deployment of the army to implement any ceasefire. Kiev and her supporters still hope that Washington will give some backup to European colleagues to strengthen the safety guarantee. At the same time, Moscow has said that he will not accept the soldiers of NATO countries posted in Ukraine in any capacity.

4- Charism

Gellanceski wants immediate, full and unconditional ceasefire to prevent war on air, sea and ground. He accepted the American proposal for this in March but Putin rejected it. Putin has ordered two small “ceasefire” instead- such as the war on Easter and Russia’s 9 May Victory Day celebrations. Calling a direct talks between Russia-Ukraine, Putin has not denied that any kind of ceasefire may be agreed in Istanbul.
