Champions Trophy 2025: Settakveer David Miller raised questions on the program, is praying for this team to win this team

South African batsman David Miller, disappointed with the second semi -final program of the Champions Trophy (Champions Trophy 2025) due to traveling between Pakistan and Dubai twice, is now expecting New Zealand’s victory in the tournament match against India. Quoting Miller as saying, ‘I will be honest with you. I think I will support New Zealand.

Soon after playing the last match of the group phase in Karachi, the South African team had to catch a flight to Dubai in the early hours of the next morning. In this tournament being played on the hybrid model, the teams of South Africa and Australia had to camp in Dubai till the results of the group stage played between India and New Zealand. South Africa topped Group B and had to return to Pakistan to play semi -finals due to India being on top of Group A. Miller, who scored a century during South Africa’s 50 -run defeat in the semi -finals against New Zealand, said that the program is not ideal.

Miller said, ‘Even though it is an hour and 40 minutes of flight, it means that we had to do so. Soon after the match, the next morning we had to catch the plane early so that we could reach Dubai at the right time. He said, ‘And we had to come back at 7.30 am. This was not a good situation. It is not that we took a five -hour flight and we had enough time to be fully prepared for the match. But still it was not an ideal situation. The final will be played in Dubai on Sunday.

Miller’s remarks came after the statement of his partner Rasi Van Der Dusen in which he mentioned India to benefit from playing all his matches at one place. Miller wants New Zealand to win the final against India but he is expected to be very close to this match. Miller said, ‘Both are very good teams. India has shown the world how good their team is. He has been playing good cricket continuously for the last several years and he has really some of the best players. This will be a great match. South Africa lost to India in the T20 World Cup final last year and once again lost the ICC title by losing in a knockout match on Wednesday.
