Cheat in the name of investment in the film! 4 and a half crores accused of having cheated a crores and a half, including the actor of Bhojpuri Pawan Singh
A FIR was filed against the actor and singer of Bhojpuri Pawan Singh and four others at the Cantt police station in Varanasi. This measure was taken after the court order. On August 19, the chief judicial magistrate ordered the police to record a case on the complaint of the Vishal Singh hotelier. A case was recorded 14 days later.The businessman accused four people, including Pawan Singh, Prem Shankar Rai and his wife Seema Rai of cheating Rs 1.5 crores. He also alleged that when he asked for his money, he was threatened with death.Police have now started investigating the case, checking the financing linked to bank accounts and films. Pawan Singh’s statement will soon be recorded.

Shivakant Mishra, in charge of the Varanasi Cantt police station, said the case was recorded on the court order on Wednesday. Ashish Singh, a lawyer for Varanasi’s businessman, Vishal Singh, said that his client had been deceived in the name of investment in the boss of the film released in 2018.He said that in 2017, Vishal met the director Prem Shankar Rai in Mumbai, after which he met many people in connection with the production of the film. The lawyer said that during this period, Vishal had been invited to invest in film production and had in turn promised to share profits. Ashish said that Vishal’s meeting had also taken place with Pawan Singh during this period.
The lawyer said Vishal came to a bluff and filed approximately Rs 32.60 Lakh of his brother’s company in different accounts. He said that in July 2018, Vishal had been declared producer of the film and promised to give 50% profits, after which Vishal imposed more than RS 1.25 crores in the production of the film. The lawyer said that the investor had not later received part of his profit when the film took place.

Vishal alleges that Pawan Singh also threatened to kill him when he asked for a part. The victim complained to the cant police station and the police commissioner in this case. He turned to the court for not having acted by the police. The court magistrate in chief (II), while hearing the case, ordered the cant’s police to record a Ghokhaddi case against four people, including Pawan Singh.
