‘Chepak is a fort …’, Shane Watson got the truth to RCB before the clash against CSK

Shane watson big statement: Former Australian all -rounder Shane Watson said Royal Challengers Bangalore will have to change their team combinations on Friday against Chennai Super Kings in their second IPL match as per the need of Chepak’s pitch. RCB registered a stunning victory over Kolkata Knight Riders but Watson believes that they will face a big challenge against Chennai.
Watson said on ‘Gostar’, ‘Playing in Chepak will be a big challenge for RCB, especially looking at the best bowlers with Super Kings. RCB will need to change its team combination to combat the strength of Super Kings. But do not make any mistake. Chepak is a fort.
Watson, who played for both Super Kings and RCB in his IPL career, described the presence of the best spinners near Chennai as the main reason for his dominance at the home ground.
Watson said, ‘The entire structure of Super Kings is built around Chennai. See only the three spinners Ashwin, Jadeja and Noor Ahmed, who bowled brilliantly in their initial match against Mumbai Indians. They will prove to be very useful on that surface.
He said, ‘For Noor Ahmed’s Super Kings, such an impressive performance in the first match will increase the team’s confidence because he knows that he has another option to take wickets.’
Watson, who was part of Rajasthan Royals’ 2008 title campaign, said that his former team lacks good spin options and this came out in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
