Complete list of MTV VMAS 2025 winners from Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga to Sabrina Carpener

MTV VMA 2025 took place on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden in New York. Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Shakira and Bruno Mars were among the top winners. American Rapper LL Cool J will be holding an event on Sunday, September 7th, 2025. The first artist tonight was award-winning Lady Gaga. Two days after the program was cancelled due to his “very stressful” voice in Miami, he was awarded the best artist of the year.

Maria Carey won the Video Vanguard Award, Ricky Martin won the first Latin Icon Award, and Basta Raimus won the first Rocksabel’s Vision Award. Three artists also performed at the awards ceremony. The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards have proven to be a celebration of women from the world of music, with global personalities such as Lady Gaga, Rosa, Ariana Grande and Maria Carrie, who won top honors at a star-worldly ceremony held in New York on Sunday.

2025 MTV VMA winners announced

The winners were announced at the ceremony on September 7th. The ceremony featured the biggest and talented artists of all styles gathered in the same room. The ceremony took place at UBS Arena, New York. LL Cool J. has hosted it for the second year in a row.

Who won the famous trophy?

Lady Gaga won the Best Artist of the Year award, while Roja accepted the Best Song of the Year award for her support with Bruno Mars and apt. Ariana Grande won Best Video of the Year and Best Pop Award for Brighter Days Ade. Accepting the honor, he said on stage “Thanks to my doctors and gay people,” and then “I love you.”
