Actress Disha Wakani, who became famous in the house playing Dayaben in the television comedy show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma”, has been far from television for a long time. Fans of the actress hope to return to her show. Rumors have been exploded several times on this subject, but there has never been an official confirmation. Now, after so long, Disha appeared on a channel, where she spoke of her personal life.
Recalling her pregnancy journey, Disha revealed: “I was told that childbirth could be very painful and that I was afraid. During my parenting class, someone mentioned that cries or cries during childbirth could frighten the child. Then I decided to sing Gayatri Mantra instead. I continued to repeat it because I was taken to the work room, and I smiled and I gave birth to my little praise. This divine mantra gave me immense power.

Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Disha married an accountant to Mayur Padia Charter in 2015. The couple welcomed their daughter Stuti in 2017, followed by their son in 2022.

Earlier this year, Asit Modi, the creator of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, made a great disclosure that Disha would not return to the show. Speaking in News18 Shosha, Asit spoke of the lack of mercy of the series and said that it was important to bring the emblematic character to bring back and admitted that they were delayed. He said, “I’m still trying. I think management will not be able to come back. He has two children. She’s like my sister. Even today, we have good relations with his family. He tied me a rakhi. His father and brother are also like a family for me. You worked together for 17 years and created a large family.
Besides Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, Daya has also appeared in many films, including Jodha Akbar, Mangal Pandey: The Rising, C Company and Love Story 2050.
