The two -part documentary focused on the murder of the popular Punjabi Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu singer, known as Sidhu Mosewala, was published on June 11 by the BBC World Service. The press release took place on the occasion of Mousala’s birthday, while her father filed a petition to maintain his screening before the Mansa court in Punjab. The court will hear this petition on June 12. The documentary was initially to be posted publicly on June 11 on the occasion of Mouswala’s birthday in Mumbai. However, in the midst of increasing controversy and legal objections, the BBC World Service published it on YouTube.
The court refuses the interim suspension, hear fixed
While hearing a civil trial submitted by Balakaur Singh, the civil judge (main division) Rajinder Singh Nagpal refused on Tuesday to make a provisional order to arrest the documentary. The court established a detailed hearing of the case on June 12.Singh made two individuals, Ishleen Kaur and Ankur Jain defendants in the trial as well as the foreign broadcasters.
According to Balkaur’s lawyer, Satinder Pal Singh, the petitioner argued that screening could affect the current criminal trial in the murder of Mosewala and violate family privacy.
Father accused of having consent away
In the complaints filed with the director general of the police of the Maharashtra and at the Juhu police station earlier, Balakaur Singh alleged that the name, equality and history of the life of Sidhu Mouswala had been used in the documentary without family consent.He also allegedly alleged that invitations had been sent to people claiming to reveal unknown details on the late singer, which could be an attempt to tarnish his son’s inheritance.Balkaur also said that no response had been received from the Maharashtra police about an action on the complaints filed last week.

Mouswala’s father criticized the BBC for unauthorized release
Mouswala’s father, Balakaur Singh Sidhu, expressed his dissatisfaction with the outing of the documentary.He told India today: “We opposed the documentary and he was released without our consent. We brought the case before the Mansa court, but we will soon turn to the High Court.”Earlier, he filed a complaint with the Director General of Police, the Maharashtra and the Juhu police station in Mumbai.He alleged that the BBC provided a screening in a Juhu theater at 3 pm on June 11 and had invited an audience selected by claiming to be “unconcluded facts” on the singer killed.

The inheritance of Sidhu Mous Wala remained in the controversies
Balakaur Singh also expressed his concern that the documentary could harm the public image of his son.He thinks that the release of such a film without family consent can distort the heritage of Wala foam and that the facts of their life and their death can be presented in an incorrect manner.
 
BBC gave its cleanliness
The BBC said in its description: “It is a story that covers rural Indian villages, Canadian hip-hop scenes, the complex history of Punjab and the political atmosphere developing in India. It also enters the hidden world of organized crime and includes a horrible telephone call with the fugitive gangster which claimed to have ordered the murder.”
 
According to the network, the documentary includes exclusive images and unknown sounds of people closest to Mousse Wala. But at the time of release and management, his family cheated. Earlier, in a complaint filed at the DGP and Juhu police station in Maharashtra in Mumbai, Balkaur Singh Sidhu said that the BBC World Service organized a program to show Sidhu Mous documentary at Juhu at 3 p.m. on June 11.
 
The BBC would have sent invitations to the first people, saying that the documentary presented in the Mumbai rooms has facts on singer Punjabi who have not been revealed or published anywhere. The singer’s father had previously alleged that this documentary could try to spoil his son’s inheritance.
