Materials required to make ginger barfi
- Ginger Paste – 1 Cup
- Jaggery – 1 cup (grated)
- Ghee – 2 tablespoons
- Coconut Burada – ½ cup
- Cashew-Badam (chopped)-2 tablespoons
- Cardamom Powder – ½ teaspoon
Method of making ginger barfi
First of all, wash ginger and peel it and cut it into small pieces. Then add it to the grinder and grind it finely and make a paste.
Put some ghee in a pan and add grated jaggery to it and melt it on low flame. When the jaggery melts completely, turn off the gas.
Now after melting the jaggery, add ginger paste and coconut sawdust to it. Mix well and cook on low flame.
-When the mixture starts getting slightly thick, add chopped cashew-almonds and cardamom powder to it. Mix well and keep stirring continuously.
– When the mixture cooks completely and leaves ghee, take it out in a ghee plate and spread it evenly.
Now let this mixture cool for 15-20 minutes. When it freezes, cut it into barfi shape with a knife.
How to consume?
– Eat a barfi every morning, especially during the winter season.
-In case of cold and cold, take it with warm milk.
– Children can also be fed this barfi, but give a small amount.
