There are 178 posts of professor in the medical college, out of which 125 posts are vacant. For this reason, apart from Almora, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Champawat, patients from rural areas also have to return here and return. Many posts including radiologist, ENT, surgery, skin disease and psychiatrist are lying vacant in Medical College Almora.
According to Dr. CP Bhaisoda, Principal of Medical College, some posts are lying vacant in the faculty. Interviews are being conducted every month. It is expected that the medical college will soon get doctors. Five senior residents have taken over in the medical college. Soon health facilities will improve a lot. On the other hand, people hoped that the opening of the medical college will provide facilities to the people of Bageshwar, Champawat, Pithoragarh and Ranikhet, including Almora, but when there are no doctors, then how will people get the benefit of health genres?
