Encouraged by the future of Indo-US relations, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Wednesday that the new Trump administration has a clear interest in advancing this relationship. When Jaishankar was asked about Donald Trump’s seat in the first line during the swearing -in ceremony of Donald Trump as the 47th President of America on January 20, he told Indian journalists, “Naturally with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special messenger It is treated very well. ”
Jaishankar (70) came here on the invitation of the US government and represented India at the swearing -in ceremony.
The Foreign Minister said that in the last three days, he got an opportunity to meet about half a dozen cabinet ministers of Trump administration.
Jaishankar said that it is clearly interested in advancing the relationship.
