EXCLUSIVE: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan slipped into a velvet bodycon Gaurav Gupta gown for Cannes Day 2

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan posed on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival today in a Personalized Gaurav Gupta look entitled “heiress of a clam”. This old Hollywood style look included a black velvet dress with a delicate silver and a golden pearl lining the sides. “The dress is confused by hand with an abstract interpretation of the cosmos in gusts of silver, gold, charcoal and black, accentuated with glass micro-cristals to capture the dimension and the light,” explains Couturier Gupta.
Wrapped around it was a fabric in the hand of Banarasi Brocade in Varanasi, India. The fabric was also registered with a Sanskrit shloka.
