EXCLUSIVE: Prajakta Koli and Vrishank Khanal’s wedding ceremony was a nature-inspired affair in Karjat
The Dream Team ™ was roped to make the process transparent. In an attractive role reversal, the future groom has intensified for wedding tasks to imagine their big day. “I was absent most of the time due to previous work commitments, so Vrishank managed much more than what we had originally kept as departments. He opted for several recommendations and tastings of food with our parents, ”shares Koli.
The two -day destination affair started with a welcome lunch and a Mehendi by the pool. The moodboard for the Mehandi reflected the personality of the future bride – unrelated and imperturbable. The earthy palette has served as an organic canvas perfect to highlight the flowers of the orange concern, the personalized Ikat prints, the clay pots and the ghungroos on table arrangements. The wooden pillars with jharokas have looked like a celebration of backyard.
Regarding her wedding wardrobe, life has really completed the loop for Koli, who dressed the role of an Anita Donger down and bottom look. Including an ankle skirt and a vest style in a rich emerald color, its whole was complex by hand by craftsmen of the Sewa Foundation. “My bridal trousseau was the first thing I had” planned “before starting to plan the marriage. The outdoor area was dotted with rattan furniture with sheets printed in block and brass Urlis with fresh petals. At the request of the future bride, the table landscape was decorated with many sunflowers. “It was dynamic and colorful, exactly how I wanted it,” shares Koli, who wore an ivory sharara with Gota Patti Work by Roze for the occasion, while Khanal completed him in a set of Assorted Kurta.
The Golden Hour Pheras, on February 25, 2025, were hosted in lush lawns in the shade of a tree to symbolize life and growth. “We went with a white and wise palette for the big day.” The serene space was amplified by hundreds of floral strings with chandeliers, ferns and foliage, which corresponded to the patterns on the Koli’s bridal Lehenga. “When it was my look, the only thing I said to Anita [Dongre] I don’t want to wear red. The first Lehenga on which I tried became my Lehenga wedding. What has stood out the most for me is that the part sample presented Parjat patterns, and my name Prajakta is another word for the Parjat flower. It also has characteristics of Pichwai paints and pockets. He was completed with two dupattas and Anita Donger jewelry, ”reveals Koli. The groom opted for an ivory look to accompany his lehenga in gold.
On the other hand, for the reception, she wore “a superb Benarasi red silk sari which was offered to me by the Vrishank family with a traditional Nath to honor my Maharashtrianes roots. Vrishank wore a classic Nepalese Daura-suruwal. »»
