Exclusive: Zahaan Khan on his fashion debut, dream job and dealing with his mother Zeenat Aman’s fame

Having seen his mother subject to the intense examination that comes with glory, he is generally more prudent as to what he publicly shares. “She has always been someone who appreciates her private life and I was very aware of it,” he says, “I still play with what I would like to put on social networks. There is always a tug, but I know that there is a thin border between vulnerability and external rhythm. ” Even if Aman took a step back from the spotlight while Khan and his brother grew up, he was not unusual for her to be recognized in public.

“When I was a child, I was so used to attention everywhere wherever we were going to that I did not know that it was not normal,” he notes, “it was only in my twenties, when I started traveling with her and I saw people of different parts of the world throwing herself on her in adulation, that it struck me birthday, sound the door and bring her a popular guy of russian bread.

Meanwhile, at 35, Khan is on his own way to success. Earlier this year, he finished his first 10 km race in the half-marathon of Juhu. Musically, he feels that he finally found his voice and worked on an ambient musical project that should be released later this year. After working with Country Made, it is impatient to experience more opportunities that arise. He also diploma in culinary arts. “Our family has a lush property in Alibaug that I slowly convert into a shop at home that is well-being and culinary,” he told me. As a child, he would never have dreamed of doing so much. He reveals that he has never had only one dream job. “As a five-year-old man, I was obsessed with cars,” he smiles, “therefore, of course, I wanted to be a traffic policeman because I would then be surrounded by cars all day and I would control them.” Unfortunately – or fortunately – not all dreams come true.
