For Katrina Kaif, nothing is more important than a good foundation

VI: What does the entrepreneur Katrina look like, and how is it different from what we see on the screen?

KK: I have borne many similar features as an actor as an entrepreneur and business owner. I learned that it is important in business to listen to, and the same goes for the theater. You have to listen to collaborate.

VI: There are polarizing opinions with regard to beauty products today. Some prefer efficiency while others buy trends. Given the wide variety of opinions, what shapes the development of Kay beauty products in a way that really meets the needs of women?

KK: For me, these are product performance. And also innovation. We are witnessing beauty conferences worldwide, where companies demonstrate new trends. We then choose what tells us. What do I think is a good choice for Kay Beauty? It is a part of our innovation. The other which is even more special for me is to create the formulations that we want specifically and to make them be affordable for our community.

VI: What is the importance of physical form for you with regard to personal care?

KK: I feel better in my skin physically and mentally when I am in good shape, make my yoga and my cardio. No one, but I can only feel better, except my husband sometimes. It gives me a lot of love and appreciation. I think it is an important aspect of learning – to accept or understand unconditional love.

VI: If you could give advice to Katrina, 13, what would he be?

KK: There are so many things that I could soak my younger self. With hindsight, I was 18 in such a massive industry without any connection. I was extremely naive and innocent, but I had so much belief. And you know what I didn’t have? Fear. I was not perplexed by harassed doubts. The absence of fear and judgment was released. I think that is something I would bring back to my younger self.

VI: You have also been raised in a house full of women. I am sure that growing up with so many sisters must have been fun, but also chaotic. Do you have beauty secrets you have won?
