From D Gukesh to Ananya Pandey- Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia dominates India, 94 out of total 300 Indians

Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, 2025: Forbes has released its 10th annual ’30 Under 30 Asia ‘list. This list has highlighted the most promising young entrepreneurs, leaders and changemakers of their fields. They are all under 30 years of age. The Class of 2025 is particularly described as technology-operating, in which Artificial Intelligence is playing a major role in how these big names are shaping the future.
This year there are 300 names in this list. A total of 10 major categories (30 names in each) have been created. Some of these are AI, consumer and enterprise technology, finance, social impact, retail and ecommerce and art. In this list of 300, India dominated India with 94 names, which is the highest from any country in the Asia-Pacific region. The list includes talented chase player Gukesh Domamaraju, Bollywood actor Ananya Pandey and Sustainable Fashion Entrepreneur Jinali Modi.
There are some Indian changemakers who made it to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, 2025 list:
- Sheetal Devi, 17, Paralympian: The world’s first -handed archers to win gold in the Asian Para Games.
- Gukesh Domraju, 18, Chase Grandmaster: The youngest Indian to defeat the current World Chase Champion and World Champion Magnus Carlson.
- Anu Jain, 29, singer-songman: He is known for hit songs like beauties and rains.
- Ishaan Khattar, 29, Actor: A versatile artist who gets international fame. He is known for acting in films like Beyond the Clouds (2017) and Dhadak (2018).
- Ananya Pandey, 26, Actor and Chanel Brand Ambassador: Bollywood Star and Chanel’s first Indian face.
- Anshita Mehrotra, 25, Founder, Fix My Curls: Indians prepared for hair types- curly hair care products.
- Jinali Modi, Founder, Banofi Leather: Banana crop waste into a durable leather option.
- Mukul Chhabra, 27, Founder, Scrape: Scrap is being deposited from home with tech-first model
- Krishna Gupta, 27, Co-Founder, Amradhan: To make rural India financially literate and ready for investment.
After India, Australia received 32 honors (names) in the list, while China received 30, Japan 25 and South Korea 23 honors. Both Singapore and Indonesia have 19–19 names.
