From Prada to Dior—these are the vintage heels you’ll want in your closet

The vintage shopping is secondary for many of us these days. This makes sense: not only is it possible to find the treasures of rare fashion – like vintage heels – that none of your friends has done so, you can also buy them at a fraction of the original price.
But while the archive bags have reached the dominant current, vintage shoes are a category which is still often overlooked. This is probably due to an element of the Ick factor and the concern of wear – although, of course, there are countless shoe restoration services.
Fortunately, this feeling is starting to change – thanks to Bella Hadid, which was spotted in Cannes last year with a pair of highly sought -after pink pink heels. Meanwhile, collective vestilar reports that vintage heels research increased by 37% in the year, Dior, Gucci and Prada being the three most popular brands.
Below, see the best vintage heels in which invest in now.
Prada kitten heels
There is no shortage of Prada Vintage shoes from which to choose (see the recently reissued platform of spring / summer 2011 brights), but we put our alerts for suede heels from the early 90s, as previously worn by Hadid. Also on our list of wishes? The heel buckle kitten, also aughts.
Gucci Monogram Slingbacks
Although we have time to wait before Gucci de Demna’s arrival, the designer’s collaboration with Alessandro Michele for the “pirate project” in 2021 can contain some clues to what to expect. This is why we think that the Gucci monogram could come back significantly in future seasons – make these vintage slingments a valid investment.
Dior logo heels
In the same vein, it seems that Logania is also on the way back to Dior – with Maria Grazia Chiuri bringing the famous T -shirt I love Dior of the brand for the fall / winter 2025. Go all the pork and wear yours with a brand of brand loop, also from the 90s.
Ballerina Céline heels
It is not a secret for anyone that anything of Phoebe Philo is very coveted on the vintage market – and these ballerina heels from her spring / summer 2015 collection for Céline are not different. Already held by at least one Vogue Editor, the hybrid style feels just as relevant 10 years later.
Vivienne Westwood Ghillie platforms
Despite being the least practical element of this list, any vintage collector who is worth his salt will have the Ghillie platforms of Vivienne Westwood on their list of wishes (or in their archives). The imposing shoes were worn by Naomi Campbell when she tripped on the track during the show / winter 1993 show of the brand. Not for timid.
This story appeared for the first time in British Vogue.
