Fwice opposed Diljit Dosanjh taken on the border 2

The Federation of Cine Employees of Western India (FWICE) opposed the taking of Diljit Dosanjh on the border 2. This event occurs on the controversy occurring on his film Sardar G3, in which the Pakistani actress Hania Aamir played.
The controversy started when Diljit Dosanjh shared the trailer for his film Sardar G3 on social networks this week, after which many people demanded a boycott of Diljit Dosanjh on social networks. The film will not be released abroad until June 27.
In a letter sent to Border 2 manufacturers Tuesday evening, Fwice said he was very disappointed and worried about being taken to Dosanjh in the film. It was written in the letter, the decision to select actors concerning roles in the film is directly a violation of the official instruction of FWICE, in which “Sardar G3” was invited to boycott the actor Diljit Dosanjh for an anti-national act to work with the actress of Pak Hania Aamir.
He said: “By working with an artist who openly ignored the current tension and the national spirit in the country, your film has weakened the attitude of the Indian film industry with the country.
“Border 2” is produced by JP Films and T-Series. Diljit Dosanjh was associated with this film in September 2023, as a suite of the 1997 film “Border”. The film will also showcase Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahaan Shetty in main roles.
