Therefore Giloy, who climbed Neem tree, is considered the best. The stem of Giloy looks like a rope and its leaves are like betel leaves. Its flowers bloom in yellow and green bunches, while its fruits are like peas. In today’s Ayurveda, it is considered anti-bacterial, anti-viral and germ destroyer.

Consumption of Giloy increases the eyesight. Drinking its juice mixed with Triphala ends the weakness of the eyes. In addition, for cleaning the ear, rubbing the stem of Giloy in water and putting it in the ear cleans the dirt of the ear. In case of hiccups, consuming it with dry ginger provides relief.

According to Ayurvedic texts, by making a decoction with herbs like Ashwagandha, Shatavar, Dashmool, Adusa, Atis etc., it provides relief to the TB patient. To overcome the problem of constipation, consuming jaggery with Giloy juice is beneficial. Giloy is also very beneficial in the problem of piles. Not only this, Giloy is also considered very beneficial to overcome problems related to liver. Mixing fresh Giloy, parsley, small peepal and neem and drinking a decoction removes liver problems. In addition, it is also helpful in controlling diabetes. Giloy juice is very beneficial for diabetic patients. Taking it with honey and taking it is controlled by sugar levels, Giloy is very effective even in diseases like Hathipaon or Filaria. Mixing its juice with mustard oil and drinking it on an empty stomach provides relief in this disease.

Giloy is also considered very beneficial for keeping the heart healthy. Taking it in lukewarm water with black pepper prevents heart diseases. Even in a serious disease like cancer, Giloy is considered an effective medicine. According to Patanjali’s research, giving giloy and wheat sorghum juice on blood cancer patients has been very beneficial. The amount of Giloy’s intake should be taken care of. Usually, the quantity of decoction should be taken 20-30 ml gram and the quantity of juice should be taken 20 ml. However, for more benefits it should be taken with the advice of Ayurvedic physician.

However, it can also cause some disadvantages. It reduces blood sugar, so those whose sugar level is low, should not consume it. It should be avoided during pregnancy. It should be used only after taking the advice of a doctor. Giloy is found almost everywhere in India. From Kumaon to Assam, from Bihar to Karnataka, it is found in abundance.
