These chemicals are used extensively to keep the ground clean. These chemicals dissolve in the air or mix in the ground water, due to which people living nearby come in contact for them for a long time.
Poisoning in water is increasing threat

Then this chemical reaches the homes of people living there in some form or the other. Due to this chemical, the people there are more at risk of Parkinson. This study was conducted on 419 people suffering from Parkinson. His health data was analyzed between 1991 and 2015. These figures have been re -analyzed in 2024. After this it was found that due to the use of pesticides in the golf course, the risk of Parkinson was many times more in these people.
Use of these pesticides in golf course
Paraquat- Many studies have found that dangerous chemicals like mercury are directly responsible for Parkinson’s disease. This chemical plant increases so much oxidative stress in cells that the plant cell dies. Scientists believe that this chemical does the same thing on human neuron. This chemical is banned in more than 30 countries but limited use is still allowed in the US.
Chlorpirifoss –This chemical also affects the neuro-transmitter. The neuro transmitter has a direct connection with the malfunction Parkinson. The US is banned for food crops, but can still be used in places like golf courses.
Manib and Mancozeb –Both these chemicals are used to kill fungus. This chemical affects dopamine hormones in the body. If dopamine hormones start decreasing, then it increases the risk of Parkinson’s disease.
Glyphoset- It is the most commonly used weed in the world. However, research suggests that it can also affect neurological systems. But subsequent research has found that it also affects neurological systems and gut health.
